As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact businesses in the US, Loomis is working to take every step possible to minimize health and safety risks to our customers, our employees, and the communities in which we serve. As part of the nation’s critical infrastructure, Loomis follows the guidelines established by the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
At the present time, all Loomis branches are operating on a ‘business as usual’ basis. If service disruptions do occur, we will partner with you to minimize interruptions and work together to overcome the challenges we face during this worldwide pandemic.
Our Branches are Open, Operational, and Addressing the Coronavirus Threat
Despite the current national emergency, our branches are fully operational and are seeing an increase in demand for our services. Our primary goal remains to maintain the health and safety of our employees as we continue to service our customers.
To limit exposure to the Coronavirus, we are taking the following steps:
- Keeping our branches sanitary and disinfected: In an effort to keep our branch work areas as sanitary and disinfected as possible, we are using third-party commercial industrial vendors to provide scheduled cleaning and disinfecting services to minimize the risk of infectious disease.
- Reinforcing proper health and hygiene routines: Loomis continues to reinforce the importance of following the health and hygiene practices outlined by the Center for Disease Control. This includes routine hand washing, practicing social distancing when possible, keeping work areas disinfected, and staying home if symptoms develop.
- Monitoring employee staffing: Loomis continues to monitor employee staffing fluctuations and absenteeism to ensure staffing levels are maintained.
Our Executive Team is Monitoring and Managing the Evolving Coronavirus Threat
Our executive team is monitoring branch events 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure that staffing levels at all of our locations are operating on a ‘business as usual’ basis.
Workflows will be adjusted accordingly to do everything possible to maintain contractual service agreements. In the event of an unavoidable service interruption, customers will be notified via their Account Manager or as part of the Loomis Business Continuity Emergency Alert System.
We hope this crisis ends soon and during it you and your loved ones remain safe and healthy. In the meantime, we will continue to monitor the evolving situation and our response to it to ensure we are meeting the needs of our customers, employees, and partners.
